This assessment evaluates for autism or ADHD, focusing on neurodivergent traits and experiences such as executive functioning, sensory processing, social interactions, and attention regulation. The goal is to provide clarity and support, whether for accommodations or personal understanding.
-
A full neuropsych evaluation typically involves a wide range of cognitive tests, while our assessments focus specifically on autism and ADHD traits. Our assessments are strengths-based, affirming, and designed to provide meaningful insights without the exhaustive nature of a neuropsych evaluation.
-
Yes, a formal assessment can provide the necessary documentation for accommodations in work or school settings. We can help you navigate the process of accessing accommodations, whether through an autism/ADHD diagnosis or related conditions like anxiety.
-
Yes, a formal diagnosis can be used to seek medication if necessary. We also provide medication referrals to help you connect with a prescriber who can guide you through treatment options.
-
A consultation is a 1-hour meeting focused on answering your questions and providing resources. An informal assessment includes a 1-hour interview and feedback session for personal clarity but without formal documentation. A formal assessment involves a more in-depth evaluation, including a comprehensive report that can be used for accommodations.
-
In addition to validation, our assessments provide a deeper understanding of your sensory needs, executive functioning, and social interactions. You’ll receive personalized recommendations and resources to help you navigate life as a neurodivergent individual.
-
Yes, we offer assessments for children and teens. However, it’s important to note that K-12 schools typically will not accept a master’s level clinician’s report for an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). For an IEP, a report from a school psychologist or a neuropsychological evaluation is usually required. Our assessment can still provide valuable insights for accommodations under a 504 plan, which offers supports like extended test time and sensory breaks. Anxiety or executive functioning challenges may also be used to qualify for these accommodations.
-
The sensory profile assesses how you or your child process sensory information. You’ll receive a detailed report on sensory preferences and sensitivities, along with recommendations for managing sensory overload or under-stimulation in everyday life.
